Glass painting is a great way to create a present you care about. I have not had all of the records, but here are a few.

Caricatures of my PhD advisor and his wife on the glass. This is a present to my mentor (Barry Lutz, BLUTZ) and his wife (Natalie Lutz, NLUTZ) to ce...

Spring break is the time to be relaxed and finally put your art ideas into action. I have been wanting to have a day bed corner next to this large window. And with a bit of sewing, sawing, hammering, and painting, a day bed can be made in 6 hours. Then I decorated thi...

During my UW BioE qualifying exam, Dr. Buddy Ratner asked me, "Is there a way to control the orientation of antibodies?" It took me a couple of days to come up with an idea - just sticking them onto the cupcakes! When Dr. Ratner saw my prototype, he smiled and asked wh...

Why penguin bake? Short answer: “Penguins are super adorable!” If you haven’t seen the movie, “March of the Penguin,” you’d better take care of that during the weekends! But if you are the few ‘penguinologists’, you probably know why they are awesome: their bravery, pe...

I grew up in a small town in Nakhon Pathom, Thailand. My father is an irrigation engineer, and my mother is a tailor. Inspired by my parents, I love both science and art.

Today I am a PhD student in the Bioengineering and Global WACh Certificate Programs at the University of Washington. At work in the Lutz lab, I develop diagnostic devices to improve access to healthcare in low-resource settings. Outside the lab, I am a furniture builder, a painter, and a food designer.
